U are lucky to have had these experiences..... most of us go through life complaining about the 'fairy tales' about the big cats.... not many of us have had the chance to experience a real live tiger as close quearters.... :-)
Does the fault lies with those that live in the jungles...??? The large cats, the deer, other animals.... they have their senses as sharp as nature will allow..and we the best of natures creations ( !!!! ) have no clue about simple behaviour.. how do we behave when we go to places other than our homes....??/
One experience...simple thoug in nature it was... was an eye pener... just yesterday i had gone to the Sultanpur bird sanctuary... the place was teeming with people who had come there with the intention of having a picnic...or a day spend with friends and family.... the voices were high pitched.... loud laughter... and shouted responses to conversations..... Do the tourists seriously expect to sight any of the exotic birds... ??? I was left thinking that maybe it would not be such a bad idea to hold a half hour talk for all those wanting to go into any game reserve.... tell them about do's and dont's... loud noises... laughter... shouts... throwing plastic wrappers and other food packaging inside the sanctuary are things that should NOT BE ALLOWED....
after this kind of behaviour.... visitors come out and complain that the authorities ahave been lying about the birds/animals that are sighted inside..... !!!!
Unbeliveable...but true....!!!
