i wrongly entered the name...absentmindedly...,sorry !
Nice composition. Is it an immature/juvenile? Imight have preferred a bit more DOF.
Lovely. Moving the camera slightly up would have helped in avoiding the shadow at the bottom. A slight head turn towards you would have strengthened the image. Overall, its a nice image. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,

Wow. Excellent. Colors are amazing.
Beautiful bird. Nice BG, colours and composition. Nicely photographed.
Keep posting.
Lovely image and colors Jitendra, indeed its a purple sun bird (female) :).
Sabyasachi I think we must have options to edit, if one makes typo/errors he or she will not be able to ammend, I guess we can edit only once when we are posting the image, later there are no options. It will be nice if you can incorporate this feature in the next version, thanks
Hi Praveen,
It is really a female ?
I am not sure but looks like Juvenile Male.
Can you share any identification help?
Nice image Jitendra.
@ Sagar - Male Purple sunbirds have two distinct plumages. This one is probably in the middle of a molt.
Sagar I referred Birds of Indian sub-continent by Richard Grimmett, pl reconfirm i may be wrong. Probably Atul Damankar can provide his views.
i think what Vikram says is right..
