The expressions of the deer shows that it is very close to drowning and it is exhausted. A very rare natural history moment captured. Thanks for sharing.
Good one. It shows that the dhole is on top and forcing the deer to drown. For dholes this process is easy when the prey is a deer. With Sambar's it becomes difficult, as the height of Sambar is more than the dhole. So dhole has to spend energy in swimming, while the Sambar will be wading through water. Their tactics vary according to prey. Thanks for sharing.
