I had to switch to closest focusing distance which never happens in bird photography.

This is cute bird. Nice and colourful. Were you shooting from a watch tower or some raised platform? Slightly lower levels of sharpening would have been good as some sharpening artifacts are visible. How much of a crop is this. Overall I like this. Thanks for sharing.
