    Brown fish owl in angry mood , Ranthambore(Rajasthan) 26/06/14.
    Large, eared owl, rufous brown above heavily streaked with black or dark brown, paler whitish below with dark streaks and fine brown bars. White throat, yellow eyes and a rather indistinct facial disk.
    TV - 1/2000 , AV - f/4.0 , ISO-1600 , 300mm f/4 , Canon 7D , EC = +1/3

    Lovely stare. Nice perch. The leaves on the top frame the image nicely. Is it a crop? Thanks for sharing.

    I like the looks. Love its eyes. I am just wondering since the bird is stationary, why 1/2000 shutter speed? You could have used a lower shutter speed and reduced the ISO. Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks Sabyasachi , for your kind comments.
    I prefer using higher shutter speed to avoid shake either due to be in a jeep or due to hand held , in this case I could have avoided but the owl was sitting in a dark place hence is the reason of using EC = +1/3 and higher ISO.
