    Nice moment captured. You had some difficult lighting to handle. The focus will lock on the basis of contrast and hence one needs to exercise caution about the focus. I guess this is a large crop. Which focusing point were you using? The AF point may fall on a large area and then it decides which part to focus on. The berries at the bottom left corner seems to be in better focus than the ones on the right. I would have loved more details. For far off subjects, you may also try using a 1.4x TC. Look forward to more through your new lens. Thanks for sharing.
