    Default Indian wood spider

Had been to my first trek in a year and half and this time was accompanied by my better halves (my wife and 550D). This time had been to Jambhulmal, the highest point in Mumbai. Its situated inside the Sanjay Gandhi National park's premises and was a good experience with huge amount of butterflies, spiders and other post monsoon bugs and some unique birds too. The whole path was filled with a variety of spiders right from the signature spiders, funnel web spiders, wolf spiders and Indian wood spiders. This particular one had built its web a bit too high along the path and hence could get an angle from below it, couldnt get exactly below it though hence missing out on the details of its head.

Nice angle. I feel if possible you could have tried to move around a bit, to try to avoid the out of focus leg at the centre and get its head in clear. The web patterns look nice. Thanks for sharing.

I agree that moving a bit more to your left would have helped in getting a clear view of the head.

PS: I think you used to look a bit different than your thumbnail. Did you get bitten by a spider as in spiderman story?
