    The Blue bull (Boselaphus tragocamelus), or 'Nilgai' as it is commonly called in Hindi is the largest Asian antelope. It is one of the most commonly seen wild animals of Uttar Pradesh.

    Nice eye contact. The details are fine. Did you get a vertical shot as well?

    In places where these Nilgai's are hunted, they become extremely shy and run at the slightly provocation. Dunbar Brander in his book had mentioned that the meat of Nilgai is bad. So I wonder why they are still hunted in places like LRK, GRK etc.
