    Default White-throated Munia

Patience Always Pays Off in Wildlife Photography! To capture this image I waited patiently for more than half an hour for the bird to perch on this particular twig. Prefocussing helped & I was blessed with a nice clear background!

Nice. Good perch and liked the catch light on the eye.You could have tried to use a narrower aperture here (as you said your lens is bit soft) with good hand holding techniques to get more details. Thanks for sharing.

nice eye contact and clean BG. Agree with mrudul on the narrower aperture as the bird seems stationary and slightly lower shutter will be ok. Reducing the contrast a bit will help.Did u run NR on this image?
