Default Like the wagging tail of a pet dog

    ID: Boxer mantis

Came across this beauty while on a look out for some interesting subject for macro photography exploration. Though it was very active and kept safe distance from the lens, eventually, may be out of curiosity or tiredness, it stopped and kept on moving/oscillating its antennae. The behaviour almost resembled that of a pet dog that waves/wags its tail when happy or excited.

    EXIF:
    Canon 550D
    Canon 100mm macro
    F/9
    Shutterspeed 1/100

Why only f9? A narrow aperture was required here as major part of its body is not covered by the depth of field. Thanks for sharing.
