    Default Tiger weekend series#7/Bandipur

Another face to face moment with this tigress, once she got in closer I even had opportunity to take some close shots.

What a moment! Such an encounter with Gowri is indeed a lucky incident. I like this vertical composition better than the horizontal you had posted. The raised front paw is nice. Seems like a tricky scene to expose. What was the EC?

Nice pose and eye contact. I would have liked to add a bit more space from the bottom to the top. Thanks for sharing.

Shankar for past 2 years I have been lucky to have seen tigers and sometimes leopards almost in every trip and missed out on few occasions. As a thumb rule sightings of predators are better in the evening, however I have seen tigers both during morning and evening safaris. In winters it is good to spot a tiger in the morning as the light is better.
It is advisable to do min 4 safari rides to spot a tiger, again it depends on your luck too
