In my bid to post images of all the 19 individual tigers I sighted at TATR this year, starting January, here comes the second tiger of the series- "choti tara" as she ofetn referred to after her mother Tara. A young female who can be charming even during the toughest of times she is facing.

Posting a 'mugshot' of hers as the most distinct identification of hers is the blister on her nose; looks a lot like a ring on the nose that women across India wear :-)

Canon EOS 7D, canon EF 300 f/2.8 L IS II USM, June 2012.
f/4, ISO 640, 1/640sec, EV 0, evaluative metering, 5% crop.

Nice one Bhargava, yes she can be easily identified with blister on the nose, if it is a permanent one:). Lovely details on this this.

Nice close-up. The blister on the nose is surely quite interesting and a good sign to identify her. Where is the crop from? I think you could have kept it full frame. Thanks for sharing.

Tight composition, especially due to the very less space between ear and top frame edge and also due to the cropping of the shoulder at the top. This is the challenge one faces while clicking mammals from close distances with a telephoto. Blister will not be visible after sometime. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Thanks everyone for the comments.

In regard to the blister, I think I must take what Sabyasachi says.

Dear Sabyasachi,

How long do you think this sort of a blister can stay for? If providing a link to INW is permitted, I will be happy to do so; there are a couple of images of this female from Decemebr last year and the blister was there then too.

Cheers
