Photo Taken at Banagalore

This sparrow-sized bird has the typical short-tailed, large-headed kingfisher profile; it has blue upperparts, orange underparts and a long bill. It feeds mainly on fish, caught by diving, and has special visual adaptions to enable it to see prey under water. The glossy white eggs are laid in a nest at the end of a burrow in a riverbank.

Nice eye contact. The catchlight looks nice. A slight off-centered composition would enhance the image further. Where was this photographed? As it is a critiquing forum you can post images without the big borders. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with Mrudul's comments.

What was the ISO and shutter speed? Eye contact is nice. This looks like a large crop, so the details are less. Thanks for sharing.
