The eye contact is nice. Its good you go the bird in clear. Even with a low shutter speed you have captured it nicely. Do check the shutter speed when you are photographing and so then you can increase the ISO accordingly. With good hand holding techniques you can get sharp images even at 1/50 shutter speed. Thanks for sharing.

The eye contact and composition is nice. There seems to be some blurring above the head. Was there some branch over the head of the bird? Thanks for sharing.

yes you are correct you can see the branch which is front goes extending backwards...
