Indian Pond heron with fish

This was captured yesterday morning. The pond heron had just picked up the fish and landed on the perch, was not able to get any images of it picking up the fish from the water surface due to blocked view. Had to shoot this through the obstructions.

Had some good time with pond herons, black kites and cormorants. Got them fishing.

Wow quite a big catch. Its good you got one eye in the clear. It would have been great if you could move a bit more to the right. But in the given conditions you have captured it well. Thanks for sharing.
