Nice pose and symmetry. You have captured it well. I agree about the space, but I know as the boat was quite near, you would have problem composing with your 300mm. Maybe a vertical composition would have helped to get more space especially at the bottom. It becomes difficult to compose as the boat keeps moving. Thanks for sharing.

Nice eye contact with both the immature birds. I agree that it is a bit tight. I don't think there was sufficient time to remove the 1.4 TC. The boat was moving, so it was not easy. People often crop 100% and post images. In Ranganathittu, one can get birds much closer. So it becomes easy to get many images.
