Crocodile at Ranganthittu

Crocodile spotted in Ranganthittu during the Indiawilds Meet. This is the same one in whose jaws the fishing net was entangled.
Canon 550d, 1/640sec, f5, ISO 100, focal length 220mm, Av priority.

Nice low-angle shot. Nice reflection in the eye. The DoF looks shallow to me. How far was it? Is this full-frame? I understand from Hymakar's post in the CI section that this big guy is doing well now.

Nice low angle and well composed. It was keeping a close watch on our action. Agree with Abhishek regarding the DOF. ISO 200 would have allowed you to go for higher aperture.

Good to see this crocodile. From this pose one can hardly know about the net. I agree that these days one can use higher ISOs. In this case, a narrow aperture like f8 or so would have been nice. Thanks for sharing.

Yes this wasnt much far..and image is full frame..and yes i agree messed up with ISO. it could have been more..
