WOW, lovely shot. Even at F/11 the DOF seems very shallow to me. any perticular reason for this?

Nice shot.. From me, Angle is little upper side.. If you were trying to take Face to face angle.. You have to Come down Little.. to get Perfect front angle shot. TFS

hello Prasad, thanks,..like narrow aperture,DOF also depends upon the distance between camera and subject. that is why DOF is real challenge in macro work.

Nice close-up.The wide and triangular head, eyes ,nostrils (beneath which heat sensitive pits in the head located),scales on the top of the head are well documented.I think some tiny drops of water have fallen over its head.This is one of the mildly venomous beautiful snakes found in our country.I like the image.Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild
