The male Tahrs are fewer in number as compared to the females. Here one male is trying to hide itself in the grass......

The eye contact is nice. What was the focal length? Did you try any wider composition including more of the habitat? Thanks for sharing.

Emotional eyes of Nilgiri Thar. All distinctive features of a male are well documented.
You have done,in my view,an ecological survey and status of Nilgiri Thar in Eravikulam N.P which was specifically created to protect this only wild goat south of the Himalaya. You have shown us rolling grass hills and forests. What not?
Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

I too love their eyes. As Shaktipadaji has mentioned, it is important to document different facets of the landscape. Over the years one can compare images and get an idea about the changes.
