Nice image Prasad. A few days back I had also clicked a red wattled but clicked standing just as your image. Then after some C&C from our members, tried clicking at a low angle and the results were great.

The colors have come out well. Thanks for sharing.

Good eye contact. Agree with you including it fully would have enhanced the image further. You could have increased the ISO further for a better shutter speed. Thanks for sharing.

the red eye looks good.a lower angle wud certainly work better here.

Lower angle, has two benefits: 1) engaging eye contact and 2) the background will be diffused.

These days we mostly photograph from a vehicle, so the angle is steep. If you look at images of Shri M. Krishnan, especially the elephant images which he clicked from ground level, then you will realise the meaning of lower angle.
