Tried this image with the new camera from my terrace. Still in the process of getting used to. Realised that rates of camera between India and the US are just marginally apart.

Nice. The noise is significantly lower than with your previous camera. Is this full frame? Personally I think a horizontal frame would have worked better.
Congrats on the new gear and TFS.

Congrats on the new camera. Even at ISO 800 quite less noise. Agree a horizontal would have been good as that would have helped to get the bird larger in the frame. Good perch and nice eye contact. Thanks for sharing.

Eye contact is nice.

Agree that noise levels as compared to your previous camera appear to be less. What is next in the shopping list?

Thanks all for your comments. Whatever noise appears could also be due to the crop. Full frame doesnt seem to have any noise at all.

Sabyasachi: Next is a Nikkor 300mm F4 with 1.4x TC. Problem is I dont have money now, will have to wait till my next trip abroad :).
