Nice composition. The low angle looks good. The eye doesn't seem to be in critical focus. Seems the AF point was locked on the grass in the foreground, please check? Wish the white thing (plastic?) was not exactly behind its beak, gives the impression it has caught something :). Thanks for sharing.

Hey Kumaran, the low angle looks good. Sigma 150-500 gets a bit soft towards the extreme end i.e. at 500mm. The sharpness is much better till 400mm. If you get more time with the bird you can zoom out and try some shots at 400mm next time. Comparing the results would help you understand the lens better.

Thanks for sharing.

The image looks a bit soft. You need to check a few things about the lens as well as whether you are uploading a file larger than 300kb.

Also, you were at ISO 100. So you could have increased the ISO for a higher shutter speed.

There appears to be an out of focus rock just infront of the beak. You can't do anything about it, however, that distracts a bit.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Thanks Mrudul,Atul,Sabyasachiji for your feedback.I was trying out the Sigma 150-500 lens by renting it out and yes Atul you are correct it becomes softer on the maximum zoom levels.

Sabyaschiji - The file sizes were around 100 kb i and you are correct the out of focus rock i could have avoided might be from a different angle

Cheers
