Nice sighting. The dark blue water looks nice. I think the focus is locked on the water. It is quite difficult to get the focus right on the birds are they are small in the frame. It is good that you used f8, maybe using a higher ISO for a still narrower aperture would have helped. Thanks for sharing.

Yes I was on a boat, there were lots of them.I shot this with 300mm!! I didnt have 500mm that time. It was heartening to see this chaps play with each other

I think it has become a bit more blue. With these small birds, it is important to carry the longest gun. :)

I heard abt this pelagic.some rare ones like the persian shearwater and swinhoes strom petrel. Any images of these???

have clicked a Pomarine and South Polar Skua.
