Nice image. The water droplets caused by the stirring of the pelican looks nice. The wing spread is also nice. When was this clicked? In the current season are pelicans visible in kelambakkam, if yes is it the big lake thats somewhere in ecr road? (in kelambakkam :) ) Thanks for sharing.

Nice wingspread. Once early in the morning while driving on that road a flock of pelicans flew over my head, a few feet away. Unfortunately, my camera was in the back seat at that time. :)

Nice wing spread. The water splash looks nice. Good details and sharpness. Since it is a crop just a bit more space on the top left corner would enhance the composition further. Thanks for sharing.

nice landing pose. a couple seconds before this with the legs streched out to brace for the landing will also look good. agree on more space around.

Thanks for the feedback and I noticed the bird just at the last moment and I was not able to capture the prior shots before landing, I agree with Mrudul could have left more space while cropping. This road is the one which I love in and around Chennai for bird watching as I find beautiful spotting during off season whenever I am here....
