Indian Pond heron in action

Was observing this Pond Heron for about 10 mins. It was thinking about taking off, but changed its mind and settled down.

Please critique !

Nice pose captured. The wing spread looks good. Agree with the above comments. As it is a crop a slight less space on the right and more on the left (off-centered) composition would be good. Thanks for sharing.

Rupak, agree about blown off highlights, the light changed from cloudy to sunny and I forgot to correct the exposure accordingly on this occasion. As I shoot in Manual mode whites got blown off.

Mrudul, there is no more space on the left and the crop is from the right. I would have loved to have move space on the left and include more of the habitat.

This is a nice pose. The eye contact is nice. Wish the whites were not overexposed. Thanks for sharing.
