Cute bird. The different shades of green look nice. I thought it was perched on a branch, but it is a iron rod, but anyway it looks nice. An off centered composition would enhance the image further. Thanks for sharing.

I too was underr the impression that this was a rod. :) Cute bird. The cobweb adds to the image. Either a bit more closeup or a bit more wider to show the environment would have added more interest.

Any idea how Sultanpur is these days? What is the route to basai?

Nice image Rajeevji. The bee eater looks smaller and fatter as compared to the ones seen in the western ghats. Cropping a bit from the bottom to avoid the patch would have enhanced this image. Thanks for sharing.
