Location- Little Andaman Island, India. Jun 2004.
An Endemic Species Found In Andaman & Car Nicobar Islands India.
Venomous, grows up to 1.10m. Nocturnal in Habits.
Camera body- Nikon F60 / Lense- 60 macro with ring flash / Iso-100

Nice eye contact. Surely looks quite dangerous. Just a bit more space at the bottom would have been good. What time was this clicked? Thanks for sharing.

Nice image.Nice eye contact.Vertical pupil well documented.The colour is different from that of the previous posting.
Pit vipers are most sophisticated amongst snakes.Pit vipers are small and their venom is low in toxicity, therefore, their bites rarely become serious to adults.
