Lovely text book image of Greater Racket-tailed Drongo (Dicrurus paradiseus). Nice pose and eye contact. I like the well defined backward curving crest in the forehead very much.

Nice head turn and eye contact. Its good you could get the tail in full. Just a bit less space on the right and more on the left would be good. Is this a crop? Some more critical sharpness would have enhanced the image further. There seems to be some noise in the background. Was any sharpening done? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the advice(s)

Will keep the tips on composition in mind. Yes, tried a very little sharpening, which probably caused the noise. No, I don't remember cropping.

thanks again

Vaisnavi,
Kannimara teak is in parambikulam. Is there one in valparai?

Did you do some blurring of the highlights? I agree with the previous comments.

You are right Sabyasachi, this was at Parambikulam. She's probably mixed up between both for we moved to Parambikulam, after a few days stay at Stanmore bungalow in Valparai.
