Nice closeup. The low angle and the clean background enhances the image. Wish the light was from the side. Is this full frame? Just a bit more space on the left would be nice. Thanks for sharing.

Nice side profile. A catchlight on the eye would have been great. I think that would have happened if the bird would have turned its head a bit. Without that it is not easy to get the eye clear due to the black on black colour scheme. There is pixellation in this image, so I think this is a large crop. Thanks for sharing.
