We surprised this mother and fawn early morning at the break of dawn in Dudhwa - Sathiyana range. Chital is such a common sight in Indian jungles, however this tender moment so symbolic of life force touched us deeply.
Shot at 300mm, ISO 500, 1/250s - F/7.1, Nikon D 90, Nikkor 70-300mm

Lovely moment captured. The tall grass in the background displays the habitat well and also compliments the subject. Good eye contact from the mother. I liked the composition. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

Nice composition. The deer is alert and may move over its leg in a moment or two if it gets threatened. The top portion looks a bit dark and blurred. Did you do noise reduction and sharpening? The details are less and the over sharpening has led to jagged edges in the grass. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Thanks. Yes Sabyasachi have over sharpened it a bit to bring our the tension in the frame. Perhaps a bit over...
