Saw this wonderful bird flying around the bird house and then landing on it. That was the moment when I captured this image.

There was another one with a bigger horn. Couldn't get its photograph as it was against the sun.

Again this is from Japanese Garden Pune. They've installed a bird house on every other tree. Nice move I must say.

Nice landing pose captured. Good eye contact. Seems the AF point is locked on the bird house. Which AF point were you using? While photographing birds in flight it is better to use all AF points focus. Its good that you used a high ISO. Thanks for sharing.

P.S - Where is this Japanese garden in Pune?

The pose is nice. Timing is perfect. Wish you got it better focussed. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

Due to lack of large trees, these bird nest boxes help. Which metering mode were you using? The bird is overexposed. What other birds did you find there? How big is the garden?

Used Partial metering mode.

The garden is fairly big and has a pond which attracts Red Wattled Lapwings.
Swallows, Babblers, Kingfishers, Doves, Red Vented Bulbuls, Red Whiskered Bulbuls are also common.
