Nice image. Was it on a branch? What was the aperture and the shutter speed. Is this a crop? Thanks for sharing.

More depth of field would have been good. The right side of the image is not covered by depth of field and is the bright part. Whereas the head is on the left and is a bit dark. So the impact is not as expected. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

Thanx Mrudul, Its not a crop & it was climbing on a huge log. Shutter speed must be 60, I don't remember aperture its a old image.

Am wondering Sameer, how far were you if this is not a crop.Looks like you were quite close and towards the tail end. Quite risky as it can really hurt with a lash from its tail. Thanks for sharing.

Nice image. It reminds us about the Sundarbans. It is not aggressive. And yet, one should keep a safe distance. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

Thanx Murugan, its not a crop and I had kept about 3 ft distance. It was basking on a log, as Saktipadaji said its not aggresive until you tease.
