Nice to see a herd with a calf. Good eye contact from all the three. Wish the back portion of the elephant in the front was not visible. You have done quite well even with a low shutter speed of 1/60. A higher shutter speed would have helped to get more details. Was this photographed from the road? Thanks for sharing.

True SPG cover given to the calf in the jungle, nicely documented. In human society the term 'true' will soon become a thing of past. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Nice to see a calf in the midst of its mother and relatives. It is sad that perhaps the only place in future where we can find unalloyed joy, love and affection is with these wild species.

I agree that moving the camera to the right to exclude the posterior portion of the elephant will be nice. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

thanks sakthi, sabyasachi. ya i agree i should have avoided the posterior portion of the elephant, infact i was concentrating on the baby & the mother to move forward so that i can have a clear shot without the plant in front, i failed to notice the posterior!
