The perch and the eye contact is nice. In the first image, wish the light was from behind you for the eye to be in light. In the second post - the light looks good. Maybe moving a bit more to the left if possible would have enhanced the eye contact further. The focus is on the body and as the head is away from the body, so the depth of field is not covering the eye. Thanks for sharing.
