Sloth Bear - Record Shot

Took this shot last year with my old SLR camera. It was early afternoon and quite harsh light. The bear too sought shelter under the rock. Full Frame.

Hi Mrudul, other than the contrasty light here, no major nits. Nice pose captured. Where was this taken, MP or Daroji?

Perhaps the top of the image that has the light vegetation could be cropped.

I think cropping the top to remove the green vegetation would work. I wish the other bear at the bottom of the frame was not there. However, if you would have waited you might have missed this expression.

Your shutter speed was already low, else I would have suggested a higher aperture as the long nose of the bears demand lot of depth of field. Overall I like this one.
