This is a grasshopper, not a moth (I suppose you didn't look closely enough). A little more DoF was required, the shutter speed could have been accordingly sacrificed here. Grasshoppers show excellent camouflage. As can be seen here, the brown band on the head even continues over the eye.

It is nicely camouflaged. Moving a bit more to the left would have been good as the head is a bit angled away from you. Thanks for sharing.

I agree that a lower shutter speed and narrow aperture would have been better, Unless it was jumping and you were trying to click it in motion. A lower angle would have been better. I think there is a piece of pink coloured out of focus paper or plastic, which distracts a bit. You have photographed it against the light. Moving to the other side and having the sun behind your back would have been better. Thanks for sharing.
