If you can post the details of your camera, lens, shutter speed, aperture, ISO and amount of crop so that we can critique better.
The stag has got nice antlers. A wider composition would have been better here as there is hardly any separation between the antlers and top frame and legs/hoofs and bottom frame.
A One stop less exposure would have been nice here and have given you a very noticeable rim lighting. Now the rim lighting appears burnt and lost especially in the body.

Nice pose. Agree with the comments above. The dried leaves and grass show the habitat nicely. When was this photographed? Thanks fort sharing.

The stag is a proud owner of lovely symmetrical antler except one small tine-tip in front.It is in the penultimate stage with antlers fully developed but still covered with velvet.Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild
