Nice to see a pair. Good eye contact. Is the AF point on the bird in the back? Having the AF point on the bird in the foreground (with better eye contact) would have enhanced the image further. Thanks for sharing.

I don't really remember where exactly the AF point was set, the climate was very dull and just before a hour had a heavy downpour so the lighting was also not good there

Is this a large crop. The sharpness could have been better. The eye of the bird at the back is visible though it is in shade. A wider composition may strengthen the image. Did you click it from a car or were you on foot? Thanks for sharing.

yes this is large crop, the bird was very far, we located the bird while we were slowly moving in car looking out for birds in the trails of annamalaichery and i was on the driver seat and the bird was on left hand side to me so had tough time to frame it
