Nice to see this bird. I like the low angle and the eye contact. In the female the throat is buff and the rump is rufous. In case of males, the throat is deep blue. In Chilika this year, I had photographed a male blue throat. Going to chilika lake again for some more of these beauties.

I agree with Shaktipadaji that patience is always rewarded.
