100-400mm @ 400mm 7d 7.1 1/1000 iso 640 the image shows the amazing neck rotation by the owl looking backwards

This is one of the reasons why people have associated the poor owl with blackmagic as it can turn its head backwards. In the earlier days the Ramsay brothers and then Ramgopal Varma took up the scary movie theme in bollywood. Murugan with his profound knowledge of movies can give you better examples. :)
The eye contact is nice. The composition is fine. This looks like its regular perch. Is this also from Bharatpur? Thanks for sharing.
