This tern had dropped this fish while flying around. The moment was captured when it came back for it.

Thanks for the comments. The rock in the background is at an angle to the sensor making it appear as if there is a tilt in the image.

Shaktipadaji, thanks for letting me know about the timings. Most of the observations made were in the morning. Will certainly make observation in the evening as well.

I have observed one thing with respect to cormorants. When landing on the perch after coming out from water, they land with their backs facing the sun. Then they open their wings and allow them to dry. Will get into further details on this. Also will make a note a direction of landing in water.
