This diwali I planned to visit Bharatpur & Sariska, But God had differant plans for me. Despite lots of hope, pre planning my tickets to delhi didn't confirmed. So on the very day (rather night) I drove to my home town (630 km) one go.

My trips to Home, offcourse are always special, family reunion & lots of birding. I was visiting places with specific targets- Golden fronted leaf bird, Bramhni kite.

But, this Image I am starting with, is so special, this bird was moving, on my will, branch to branch. My vist to my village place 35Km from Ratnagiri was amazing. In 1 and half hour I had seen varity of birds. captured almost all, I had seen that day.

Please do spend some time to critique.

Good to know you had a good time birding at home :). Nice composition, perch and eye contact. The blacks are well exposed. Thanks for sharing.

It is good that you drove to your hometown rather than spend time in the popular places and "enjoy" the sound of thousands of crackers bursting at one go.

I like the eye contact. The composition is fine. Slightly toning down the yellows will be good. Thanks for sharing.
