I have been photographing this tigress in water for the last four years. This year also, I could find her in water.

Canon EOS 1D Mark II, Canon EF 400mm f2.8 L IS USM, EF 2xII ie. at 800mm, ISO 200, f5.6, 1/1000 sec, full frame.

Do you mind the central placement of the subject here?

nice lovely image....i feel a bit of crop from the top would make this better...also feel that a bit more detail on the sides would enhance the look.

thats lovely image... tiger on the right side can take more contrast and hightlight recovery...TFS

i agree with kiran about the highlights, and yes a wide shot would have been better.. thats my amateur opinion.

The central placement of the subjects is fine by me. But I think that it would have been better to have a little less space below the tigers. That would place them on the lowest rule-of-thirds plane with both their backs placed on the left and right rule-of-thirds intersections. The whites do appear a little blown out.

The central placement, both horizontally as well as vertically, works for me. I'd just pull the highlights a bit.

Nice image.I agree with Mr.Aditya that less space below tiger would be a better option. I would have considered lowering the tigers even more than the rule of thirds.

Dear Sabyasachi,
Another of your very nice images. With regard to placement of the main subject, in this case I would prefer the upper part is cropped out as there is greater interest in the lower part (tiger's reflection) than in the upper part.

Thanks for the suggestion. I feel slightly less space at the top and a bit more at the bottom would have been better. A lower position of the tiger would have been good as well. However, that would have led to less of the reflection. Though the reflection was not very clear due to the flowing water, I was not comfortable in cutting the reflection. When we look back at our images, it certainly gives insights.
