Nice perch. I feel, a slight head turn to the left would have enhanced the eye contact further as the light was from the right. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

Nice to see a kestrel from Velavadar. I agree with Mrudul. Frontal lighting is often preferable for bird photography as it gives you more details. Slightly reducing the sharpening will better here. You can try to pull up the shadows a bit so that its right eye (towards our left in the frame) is a bit more lighted. Thanks for sharing.
