shot through the intervening vegetation with 5DIII 100-400, f/5.6, 1/200, iso 100, EC +0.3, @ 400mm,60% crop. seen in hundreds in my childhood days, seen in few pairs these days.

Nice image. Good eye contact. There are some highlights on the throat. I think a slight -ve EC would have helped. Thanks for sharing.

Nice tall crest and eye contact. It has also become quite rare here, what we usually find is Red-vented Bulbul.Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Your statement really sums up the situation about the health of our wilderness areas and wildlife. Because of poaching these birds and animals are increasingly becoming scared of humans and photographing them is becoming even more difficult.

I like the eye contact here and the raised crest. The branches arched above its head frame it well, however slightly more separation between the head and the branches would have been even better. Thanks for sharing.
