At noon a large herd of black bucks had approached near water spot.First a male leader quenched it`s thirst,Then turn by turn other approached the spot while the main male was keeping cautious watch all over place and over the herd.
`Mirage` effect due to heat at noon can be seen in background.

Good image.Nice to see so many Blackbuck in one frame. One feature is noticed. Some adult males are deep black, some may remain deep brown. In the north and west, all adult males will have deep black. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Nice environment photograph. The mirage effect in the background looks nice. There is some loss of details, is this a crop? Wish the light was less harsh. Thanks for sharing.

Mirage is basically heat waves giving impression of water in a desert.

In telephoto lenses the heatwaves are visible and often leads to lower contrast and softness in the images. Moving the camera a bit more to the right would have helped in getting the complete antlers of the black buck on the right. When was this photographed? Thanks for sharing.
