At the Bird Walk to Barvi Dam, Badlapur, I spotted some unusual movement at the top most baranch of a tree, couldnt register the presence of a bird until after a long time when i could spot some black spotted thing moving around. After several failed efforts to get a proper focus, finally started realizing that the bird was way bigger than the black spot. This image is one of the better ones from the other lot of not so successful attempts. It was easily 15m above the ground and getting a sharp image with 55-250 was very difficult.

Nice that you could take such an image under trying conditions and with the equipment at your command. The orange forehead is visible. It is a gold-fronted leafbird (Chloropsis auriforns). Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Nice sighting. It is quite nicely camouflaged in the leaves and so difficult to spot. You have done well in the given conditions. Thanks for sharing.

Nice camouflage. Focusing with a medium focal length lens is not easy, especially when you are pointing your lens up. Thanks for sharing.
