December evenings in Karwar mean quality time spent with the wide-angle lens :), with every evening offering a new tableau of sunset hues and cloud patterns. Here's one clicked yesterday from the beach. A post-sunset image with the Oyster Rock islands on the horizon.

Canon 500D, 18-55mm @25mm
SS 1/100
Av 9.0
ISO 200
Cropped from the bottom for width.
I found the monochrome version of this image interesting, will share it soon.

Thanks, C&C awaited.

Will add the typical 'Main na kehta tha' statement to this. Karwar has one of the most colourful sunsets amongst beaches. Nicely done. Would like to see the monochrome version of this as well. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely sunset. I liked the composition. Some more clouds at the top of the frame would have been even nice. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

Lovely image Abhishek. The clouds look lovely.I feel there might have been more clouds towards the left as the elliptical pattern of the clouds signify that. Nevertheless, a nice image. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Murugan. You're right, the clouds did extend beyond this frame, however I composed it this way to avoid hints of other islands or the mainland.
