The monochrome version of the previous image. This version does rob the image of its colours, but leads to more attention being drawn to the clouds in my opinion. I liked the way the B&W treatment makes even the bright orange point (see previous image) look like a cloud.

Agree, the b/w treatment gives more emphasis on the patterns. I feel this treatment also works as the cloud patterns add interest. Thanks for sharing.

We all love the colours and immediately get drawn to it. I doubt if people watch a sunset for the cloud formation as the colours overshadow the patterns.

You need a higher shutter speed and depth of field for a monochrome version. The clouds move fast. Thanks for sharing.
