The famous Silent Valley is resonating with the call of the Lion Tailed Macaques. The Kerala Govt wanted a dam to be built but that didint take place and the LTMs and others survived. It was nice to see a large no.of them......

The pose looks good. Pleased to learn about your new endeavour. I listen to the call 'coo' from your writing. Did you find that they prefer to descend from one tree to climb another instead of proceeding along the tree tops. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Good to know the number of LTM's have increased in the Silent Valley. Nice pose. Seems there is some loss of details. Thanks for sharing.

Nice to see a Lion-tailed Macaque from Silent Valey. You have cropped a bit more, so there is pixellation. Reducing the saturation will also help. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

Thanks for your comments.

Saktipadaji:I felt they were not coming down to the earth and preferred to remain arboreal.I could have asked the forest guide about this but missed out.

Sabyaji and Mrudulji:I wanted a real close up of an LTM(Sabyaji style!)with its mane clearly visible. But it was higher up and I needed to crop compromising on detail.
